The Trust is dedicated to promoting the re-generation and re-building of the Whitchurch Arm of the Llangollen canal.
The Whitchurch Arm of the Llangollen Canal was re-opened a number of years ago and provides casual 48 hour moorings for passing boaters as well as a number of long term and winter moorings.
The Trust continues to manage and maintain this stretch of waterway
Whitchurch Waterway Trust is a Registered Charity:  Registered Charity Number - 7101050

     MOORINGS
Visiting boats are welcome to stay at any time of year for up to 48 hours.

The arm offers closer access to the town centre’s shops pubs and eating places and the Trust recognises the importance of making the town more accessible to users of the main Llangollen Canal.

There is a half hourly bus service throughout the day (Monday to Saturday) for those who wish to avoid the 15 or so minute walk.

For the energetic there are two walking routes to pick from. The first follows the path of the proposed canal extension whilst the other option is to follow the road from Chemistry Bridge. There is a notice board on the tow path of the arm giving information about buses, taxis and local services.
The long term moorings are all occupied at the moment.

     WINTER MOORINGS
The Trust is hoping to increase the number of boats that can be accommodated over the winter period.
All enquires about moorings should be directed to Mr & Mrs Green at Chemistry Farm.
